High Prairie Township

 

On the same property where the cemetery rests, a one‑room schoolhouse once stood, serving as a place of learning for the children of the surrounding rural community. For many years, it was a center of education and daily life, reflecting the close‑knit nature of the area. The schoolhouse was lost to a fire, and while the building no longer stands, its place in the community’s history is remembered as part of the shared heritage of High Prairie Township.
